Welcome to the 2022 Brain Injury Global Picnic!

GBIA love collaborating and understands that individual advocates, people with lived experience, brain injury organisations and the experts and professionals who work with and support us all want the same things!

We invite you to reach out in your own creative ways.

If we join our voices together our individual ripples become one mighty wave. We have the power to change inadequate systems by putting pressure on institutions and governments – together!

If enough people create enough noise we can change the future for ourselves and everyone following behind.

To get involved you can:

  • Speak to your local media – TV, radio, press
    • Prepare a press statement to send to your local newspapers or use ours – see the Global Picnic cover page
    • Share information about your local support group, and the services you offer and highlight any local issues
    • Talk about your charity or not-for-profit and key aims
    • Share information about your research with your local media and us! (published or undertaking)
    • Talk about your business and the services you offer with your local media
    • GBIA are happy to support you in all efforts and ideas – please email us at:
